Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Tra la la! I got my grade 1 piano exam results this evening - not only did I pass but I passed with distinction!! :oD I had absolutely no problem smiling on stage tonight, I was grinning like an idiot from the moment I found out! I thought I'd done enough to pass and, based on the examiner's comment about my sight reading, that maybe I might have scraped a merit but I never dreamt I'd get a distinction. Suffice to say, I'm pretty darn happy! And the two pints of cider I had at this evening's post show get together have enhanced that happiness somewhat too!!
